Danielle graduated nursing school in 2004. I immediately began working with moms and newborns after delivery. I fell in love with the opportunity to join parents as they got to know the newest member of their family. Soon after starting this job, I gave birth to my first child, and the real struggles of motherhood emerged. The difficulties we faced prompted me to improve the experiences of my patients.

The ability to breastfeed a child is a gift – to both mom and baby. From the nutritional and health benefits to the bonding that occurs, breastfeeding provides an incredible way for them to connect and care for each other. Breastfeeding is not always an easy or smooth process, and I hope that I can come alongside women to empower them through their journey. My dedication to continuing education stems from my desire to provide the best evidenced based care to my clients.

Throughout the years I earned a masters degree in nursing leadership and am certified as a Maternal-Newborn Nurse and breastfeeding specialist. The gold standard of lactation care is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am the proud wife of an adventurer and mama to 2 teenage girls.
