Should I Book an Appointment?
There is no “too early” or “too late” to receive support. Many families schedule a **prenatal visit** to feel prepared and grounded before baby arrives, while others reach out **after birth**, especially in the first days or weeks when feeding questions are most common. Trust your intuition—when you feel you need support, we’re here.

Where Is Mom Tribe Located? Mom Tribe offers in-office lactation support in **Port Orange, Florida** and **DeLand, Florida**. Our spaces are designed to feel calm, welcoming, and family-centered.                                                 Do You Offer In-Home or Virtual Visits?                                    Yes. In-home visits allow families to receive personalized, hands-on support in the comfort of their own space. Virtual visits are also available and can be a wonderful option for added flexibility or continued support between in-person appointments.                                                                           What Can I Expect During My First Visit?                                   Your first Mom Tribe visit is centered on connection and care. During your appointment, we may:                                                                            * Review your pregnancy, birth, and health history                                                    * Observe a feeding if your baby is ready                                      *Assess oral structure and function                                                    *Assess latch, positioning, and milk transfer                                                   * Review your baby’s growth and feeding patterns                                        * Answer your questions and offer gentle guidance                                        * Create a personalized, realistic feeding plan You’ll leave feeling supported, informed, and empowered—with clear next steps and ongoing support options.                         Do You Work With Insurance?         Many insurance plans offer coverage for lactation services. Coverage varies and we’re happy to help you navigate your options. Plans that usually cover lactation: Aetna PPO/EPO, BCBS PPO/EOP (Anthem PPO, Federal BCBS, RegencePPO, Premera PPO). Superbills may be provided for families seeking reimbursement for non-covered care. Please ask about insurance when booking.                                                                                What If My Baby Doesn’t Feed During the Visit?                                That’s perfectly okay. Babies are beautifully unpredictable. Even if your baby isn’t ready to feed, we can still work on positioning, review pumping or bottle-feeding techniques, and talk through your questions and concerns.                                                             Do You Use a Scale? Yes. A 2 gram-sensitive pediatric scale is used during visits when appropriate. Pre- and post-feeding weights can help assess how much milk your baby is transferring during breastfeeding.                                                           How Many Visits Will I Need? Every family’s journey is different. Some families feel supported after one visit, while others choose ongoing care through the early weeks or months. Together, we’ll decide what feels supportive and sustainable for you.                                                                                              Do You Support Formula or Combination Feeding?                Always. At Mom Tribe, there is no judgment—only support. Our goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and at peace with the feeding choices that best serve your baby and your family.  💛
